One year ago, Teddy’s Jiu Jitsu Academy opened its doors with a simple but powerful vision: to create a welcoming place where people of all ages could learn, grow, and challenge themselves through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Today, as we celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are overwhelmed with gratitude, pride, and excitement for what’s ahead.
This past year has been unforgettable—not because of medals or titles, but because of the people who walk onto our mats every day.
A Community Like No Other
From our youngest students stepping onto the mats for the very first time to our dedicated adult practitioners balancing training with work, family, and life, this academy has become a true community. Our kids have shown courage, discipline, and confidence far beyond their years. Watching them grow—not just in skill, but in character—has been one of the greatest rewards of this journey.
Our adult students inspire us just as much. Whether training for self-defense, fitness, competition, or personal growth, each of you brings consistency, humility, and heart into the room. You show up tired, sore, and busy—but you show up anyway. That commitment is what Jiu-Jitsu is all about.
An Ego-Free, Supportive Environment
